Welcome to Pinknic.
16,000 people. 4,000 blankets. Live bands & DJs. Endless rosé.
Summer 2016 marks the New York City debut of Pinknic, the city’s first large-scale picnic and music festival dedicated exclusively to rosé wine. Over the course of two days, guests are invited to eat, drink, and enjoy entertainment spread across the sprawling grounds of Governor’s Island--stemless wine glass in hand, naturally.
Created by the founders of La Nuit en Rosé, Pinknic will run Saturday July 9 through July 10 2016, from 12pm to 5pm on both days.
Pinknic will present an unparalleled opportunity to delight in still, sparkling and Champagne rosé selections from Château d’Esclans, Chandon and more in a setting suited for summer’s favorite beverage. But rosé isn’t the only thing taking center stage. Throughout the weekend, there will be a robust selection of live entertainment, with DJ sets and performances by Claptone, Miami Horror, Tortured Soul, Slow Hands, Tube & Berger and more.
From the glass to the grounds, Governor’s Island will be bathed in pink. Four-thousand rosé-hued designer blankets will provide ample seating for guests, each of whom are invited to adhere to the weekend’s dress code of pink and white. For those who do not wish to bring their own food, gourmet Pinknic Baskets crafted by celebrity chef Chris Santos are available for pre-order on our website.
We’ve taken care of everything--just bring your appetite for the good life and a thirst for rosé.
